The REPIDISCA coupons are utilized for the exchange of photocopies or scanned pages, vídeos and diskettes. Are accepted within the new work scheme of the Virtual Health Library and Environment - BVSA, being modernized toward an electronic management, but will follow as reference of payment the unit "copy". The coupons in printed form, can continue to circulate, but is recommended sending them to CEPIS for its conversion to the electronic system.

The coupons are reusable, with circulation similar to money. The coupons will never be exchanged for money. There are coupons equivalent to 5, 10, 25, and 50 photocopies.
For the new electronic system, there are also applied these characteristic, including can have a negative account "overdraft" that will be analyzed in every case. In the traditional system the coupons are attached to the requests of document reproduction; there does not exist any special form. PFor the electronic system, the National Coordinating Centers and the Cooperating Center that receive the service and accept it, should send CEPIS copy of its acknowledgment of receipt, with the number of "copies" and Center to which it is necessary to pay them.
